Real Estate Accountant in Richmond, Virginia For Sale

Dynamic Property Management/Real Estate Development Company seeks a Staff Accountant to join our team. 
The successful candidate will: 
Oversee the financial responsibility for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. 
Prepare monthly financial statements 
Provide on-going financial support and training to property managers and staff. 
Assist with payroll related activities. 
Reconcile bank accounts; daily maintenance of cash ledgers. 
Commercial property management lease administration/collections. 
Property insurance administration. 
Assist with annual budget preparations. 
Reconcile and prepare year end trial balances for submission to tax accountant. 
Other tasks and projects as assigned by Accounting Manager.
Desired Skills and Experience: 
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred; however, experience in lieu of degree will be considered. 
Excellent customer service and communication skills required. 
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks. 
Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. 
The ability to work as a strong team player and contribute as needed in a variety of areas. 
Proficiency in Excel. Working knowledge of Timberline and Onesite or comparable systems preferred.
