Develops testing strategy and master test plan to support testing objectives. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Requires thorough technical, analytical and operational knowledge within the QA area of accountability with specific responsibilities for design, development and implementation of test strategies to mitigate technical risk. Collaborate with Business/SA/DEV/Architects to analyze requirements and understand testing scope of the project. Determine Testing LOEs for ECM domain projects and ECM Integrated projects. Maintain schedules and coordinates activities for project efforts while maintaining high quality execution; identifying task dependencies, test schedules, utilization of test environments Will work under general supervision to monitor software quality and associated business/technical risks across the software development lifecycle Define and analyze technical risk for new and/or modified software products, then document, perform and interpret functional tests to mitigate risk Perform varied and complex assignments of the software testing functionality. Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other technical personnel. Guide, direct others and perform in the set-up and performance of the tests. Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation procedures to be used in the product design phase through the initial production. Responsible for the integration, system, and regression testing of software Own System Integration Test (SIT) planning and ensure 100% Business/System requirements test coverage or traceability Ensures test deliverables are prepared per enterprise guidelines; monitors the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensures that technical and functional objectives are met Manage DRB's and adhere to defect tracking process; document software defects, using a defect tracking tool, monitor the progress in a timely manner, escalate aging and priority defects. Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.. Collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools. Review and Approve the SIT execution results and mentor other IT partners/ new team members on ECM Test Process review system test cases to ensure they are robust Direct and monitor other testers during test execution Partner with other IT departments for integrating E2E testing activities and ensure successful implementation Track testing milestones using MS Project Plan or MS Excel and coordinate with IT PM's Remove impediments / solve problems Create artifacts for Project Go/ No go meeting and to socialize lessons learned to senior leadership This position will be hired at either the IT Quality Control Advisor or IT Quality Control Sr Advisor level based on the candidates background. Minimum 5 years Software Testing for Large integrated applications and minimum of 2 years of that experience in filenet Excellent verbal communication and influencing skills Experience leading testing efforts of large integrated applications preferred Experience performing testing activities (execution, planning, etc.) hands on while managing test execution by a team is required.
